Informação sobre produto
Rabeprazole is a proton pump inhibitor that inhibits the gastric acid secretion by binding to the H+/K+ ATPase in the gastric parietal cells. It is used for the treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease, peptic ulcer disease, and Zollinger-Ellison syndrome. Rabeprazole has been shown to inhibit proton pumps in animal models. This drug has been shown to have low levels of impurities and can be purified using preparative high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) or preparative high-resolution reversed phase HPLC. These techniques use different solvent systems for separation, such as aqueous buffers or organic solvents with different polarities. Preparative HPLC is useful for purifying small quantities of compound from a complicated mixture, while preparative reversed phase HPLC is an efficient method for large-scale purification of compounds with similar chemical properties.
