Informação sobre produto
- Pyridine, 2-Bromo-3-Methoxy-6-Nitro-
2-Bromo-3-methoxy-6-nitropyridine is a nicotinic antagonist that prevents acetylcholine from binding to nicotinic acetylcholine receptors. It has been shown to be effective in the treatment of pain in humans. This drug is a synthetic compound that has been shown to inhibit epibatidine induced emission and hydrogenolysis, as well as block the binding of epibatidine to nicotinic acetylcholine receptors. The affinity of 2-bromo-3-methoxy-6-nitropyridine for neuronal nicotinic acetylcholine receptors is approximately 10 times less than that of nicotine.
