• Descrição: Buthionine sulfoximine (BSO) is a sulfoximine that inhibits the enzyme glutathione reductase. It is used as an experimental model for oxidative injury. This drug has been shown to have minimal toxicity in experimental models and no adverse effects on human erythrocytes.
