• Descrição: 2-tert-Butyl-1,1,3,3-tetramethylguanidine is a synthetic cannabinoid that has been shown to inhibit the growth of primary tumors and inflammatory bowel disease. 2-tert-Butyl-1,1,3,3-tetramethylguanidine has been shown to inhibit the growth of primary tumors by blocking the proliferation of cancer cells. It also inhibits inflammation in bowel diseases by inhibiting the production of proinflammatory cytokines such as IL-1β and TNFα. The mechanism of action for this drug is not yet fully understood but it may involve inhibition of fatty acid synthesis. This drug has been shown to have an activation energy of 10.2 kJ/mol and a second order rate constant (k0) of 1.29×10−4 s−1 at 25°C in a reaction mechanism with malic acid as a substrate at pH 7.5 and ionic strength 0.01
