9,10-Bis(phenylethynyl)anthracene is a molecule that belongs to the group of polymeric matrix. It has been shown to have high quantum yields and a redox potential in the range of 2.0-2.6 volts, which makes it a promising candidate for organic light emitting diodes (OLEDs). 9,10-Bis(phenylethynyl)anthracene is synthesized through cationic polymerization with copper complexes and nitrogen atoms. 9,10-Bis(phenylethynyl)anthracene can be easily modified by the addition of substituents at the phenylethynyl ring.
