Descrição:

Boc-L-Aspartic acid-4-benzyl ester is a nucleotide analog that inhibits the activity of nucleophilic enzymes, such as rat liver microsomes. It acts as a competitive inhibitor by binding to the active site of the enzyme and blocking access to the substrate. This compound inhibits lysine decarboxylase, an enzyme involved in amino acid metabolism, and also has a catalytic effect on guanine deamination. Boc-L-Aspartic acid-4-benzyl ester is used in treatments for Parkinson's disease and other neurological disorders.
