2,2-Bis(3-amino-4-hydroxyphenyl)hexafluoropropane is a cross-linking agent that has been shown to have thermal stability and chemical stability. It has also been shown to be a transportable, photosensitive, and light emitting compound. This compound has been used as a magnetic particle cross-linker for the preparation of amide polymers. The nitrogen atoms in this molecule play a role in its chemical structure and transport properties. 2,2-Bis(3-amino-4-hydroxyphenyl)hexafluoropropane has a hydroxyl group on one end of the molecule which is responsible for its viscosity and chemical structures.
