Benzyl 3-((tert-butoxycarbonyl)amino)-4-hydroxypiperidine-1-carboxylate is a chemical compound that has been studied for its effects on chronic kidney disease. It has been shown to inhibit the production of reactive oxygen species and increase the production of nitric oxide, which may reduce oxidative stress and inflammation in the kidneys. Benzyl 3-((tert-butoxycarbonyl)amino)-4-hydroxypiperidine-1-carboxylate has also been shown to have a beneficial effect on renal function in animal models of chronic kidney disease.
