Informação sobre produto
2-Bromo-1-(4-phenoxyphenyl)ethanone (BPNE) is a fluorescent compound that has an emission maximum at 477 nm in acetonitrile and fluorescence quantum yield of 0.15. The electronic structures of BPNE have been calculated using the DFT method, and the optical properties were analyzed using density functional theory. The fluorescence spectrum of BPNE shows a sharp peak with a broad shoulder at 490 nm, which is attributed to the excitation of the ground state and first excited singlet state. The luminescent properties can be tuned by changing solvates and substituents on the phenoxyphenyl ring.
