Boc-L-glycine 4-oxymethylphenylacetamidomethyl resin is a water-soluble, epoxy, aminomethyl resin that is used for the synthesis of cyclic peptides. It has been used in structural biology and chemical ligation to identify lysines on collagen molecules. Boc-L-glycine 4-oxymethylphenylacetamidomethyl resin is also used in skin cancer research and treatment because it has shown to be active against melanocortin receptor 1. The use of this resin has been patented for use in the synthesis of synthetic proteins.
