N-alpha-Boc-DL-diaminopropionic acid is a synthetic compound that is used in the treatment of cancer. It inhibits the growth of mammalian cells by damaging the cell membrane and inhibiting DNA replication. N-alpha-Boc-DL-diaminopropionic acid also has antibacterial properties, which may be due to its ability to disrupt bacterial cell membranes and inhibit protein synthesis. This drug can be conjugated with a variety of molecules, including hepg2 cells, carboxylates, and cyclopentadienyls.
