Butyl 4-Carboxyphenyl Carbonate is a binder that is used in the production of particle boards. It is a liquid that is applied to the wood chips to help bind them together. Butyl 4-Carboxyphenyl Carbonate has a high stability, which means it will not react with other substances, such as water, and can be stored for long periods of time without losing its effectiveness. This product also has an excellent binding capacity and can be used for pretreatment of lignocellulosic biomass before use in the production of paper or particle board. The molecular weight of this product is around 500 g/mol, which makes it ideal for use in binding particles because it does not form chains. Butyl 4-Carboxyphenyl Carbonate may interact with graphene sheets and phosphomolybdate chains to form carbonates, which are important structural components in some biological systems.
