Descrição:
2,3-Bis(2,4,5-trimethyl-3-thienyl)maleic anhydride is a compound that has been synthesized in hexane. The activation energy for the reaction was found to be 9.6 kcal/mol. In addition, it has photochemical properties and fluorescence. It can be used as a ligand or dipole with tetrahydrofuran and will also undergo photochromism after uv irradiation. 2,3-Bis(2,4,5-trimethyl-3-thienyl)maleic anhydride is thermally stable at temperatures of up to 120°C and does not decompose under room temperature conditions.
