Descrição:
2,3-Bis(2,4,5-trimethyl-3-thienyl)maleimide is a molecule that has been studied for its ability to connect with other molecules. 2,3-Bis(2,4,5-trimethyl-3-thienyl)maleimide was shown to be a good substrate for photoluminescence and fluorescent properties. It can be used as a template in mesoporous materials to produce new materials with desirable properties. This compound can also be used as a photochromic or fluorescent probe in scintillation counting. 2,3-Bis(2,4,5-trimethyl-3-thienyl)maleimide absorbs at 365 nm and emits light at 460 nm when irradiated with UV light. This compound is also sensitive to methyl methacrylate and absorbs at 297 nm. It also absorbs at 285 nm when it reacts with diarylethene.
