(2S,3S)-3-[[3,5-Bis(Trifluoromethyl)Phenyl]Methoxy]-2-Phenylpiperidine is a 5HT2 receptor antagonist that blocks the binding of serotonin to its receptors. This drug has been shown to be effective in treating human osteosarcoma cells and skin cells. It also has been shown to have an effect on the detrusor muscle as well as primary sclerosing cholangitis. (2S,3S)-3-[[3,5-Bis(Trifluoromethyl)Phenyl]Methoxy]-2-Phenylpiperidine has also been shown to inhibit the growth factor β1 and polymerase chain reaction (PCR).
