Tert-butyl 2-(trifluoromethyl)acrylate is an organic compound with the chemical formula CF3C(O)OC(CH3)3. It is a colorless liquid that polymerizes in the presence of heat or light. Tert-butyl 2-(trifluoromethyl)acrylate can be used as a monomer for the synthesis of polymers, such as polyesters and polyamides, which are stable and have low yield.
