Descrição:
7-Methyl-1,4-benzothiazin-3(4H)-one is a synthetic thrombin inhibitor that inhibits the conversion of fibrinogen to fibrin by inhibiting the proteolytic activity of thrombin. It has been shown to be effective in preventing blood clots and reducing the risk of stroke or heart attack. 7-Methyl-1,4-benzothiazin-3(4H)-one is used for treatment of cancer and inflammatory diseases such as arthritis. The drug is also used as an experimental model for plant science and fatty acid synthesis.
