Y-27632 has been shown to have an effect on body formation in vivo models, inhibiting the growth and proliferation of pluripotent cells and inducing epithelial mesenchymal transition. In addition, it has been found to be effective as an inhibitor of human serum growth factor-β1 (HGF) in vitro.
