Descrição:
6-Cyano-3-chloropyridine is a drug with anti-infective properties that belongs to the group of diamidines. It selectively binds to divalent metal cations, such as ferric ions, and has been shown to have trypanocidal activity in vitro. In vivo studies have shown that 6-cyano-3-chloropyridine is susceptive to mycobacterial infections and has an etiological role in the development of diseases caused by this bacteria.
