Informação sobre produto
4-Chloro-1,3,5-trimethyl-1H-pyrazole is a peroxide that is obtained by the reaction of benzoyl chloride and hydrogen peroxide. It can be used in the synthesis of benzoyl peroxide. 4-Chloro-1,3,5-trimethyl-1H-pyrazole reacts with bromine to form a radical that attacks the benzene ring in benzoyl chloride to form a 2,4 dibromobenzene. This process is called bromination. 4-Chloro-1,3,5-trimethyl-1H-pyrazole can also be used as an alternative to benzoyl peroxide for the oxidation of organic substrates such as ethylbenzene and naphthalene.
