Informação sobre produto
- Benzoic acid, 4-cyano-, hydrazide
- 4-Cyanobenzoylhydrazine
4-Cyanobenzohydrazide is a potent anticancer agent that has been shown to inhibit the growth of cancer cells in many different cancer cell lines. 4-Cyanobenzohydrazide has been shown to be active against MDA-MB-231, MCF-7, and many other cancer cell lines. This compound is an inorganic nitrosamine that reacts with amines to form tetrazoles. The tetrazole ring provides a good leaving group for the hydrazine moiety, which can be hydrolyzed by nitrous acid. Nitrous acid converts the hydrazine into its corresponding diazonium salt, which reacts with oxygen to form a highly reactive molecule capable of attacking DNA and RNA strands.
