3-Cyclohexylisoxazole-5-carboxylic acid is a compound that is being investigated as an anti-cancer agent. It was shown to have cytotoxic effects on cancer cells in vitro and inhibit cancer cell proliferation in vivo. 3-Cyclohexylisoxazole-5-carboxylic acid has been shown to induce apoptosis of cancer cells, which may be due to its ability to bind DNA and inhibit the expression of genes involved in the regulation of cell cycle progression. The drug also has anti-inflammatory properties.
