Descrição:
4-Chloro-5-methyl-1H-pyrazole is a fungicide that is used to control various plant diseases caused by filamentous fungi. It inhibits the growth of fungi by inhibiting the enzyme pyrazole phosphate synthase, which converts 3,4-dimethylpyrazole phosphate into methylpyrazole and 3-methylpyrazole. The inhibitory rate of 4-chloro-5-methyl-1H-pyrazole on filamentous fungi is high, with an inhibition rate of greater than 90%. 4CMP has been shown to inhibit the growth of various filamentous fungi in aerobic conditions at concentrations between 0.05% and 5%. 4CMP also has a low toxicity for mammals, with an LD50 of about 3000 mg/kg body weight.
