• Descrição: N-(3-Chlorophenyl)-N'-(diaminomethylene)guanidine is a 5-HT3 receptor antagonist that binds to the 5-HT3 receptor in the gastrointestinal tract and blocks the voltage-dependent calcium channels. It has been shown to have a protective effect on the bowel by reducing inflammation and increasing the rate of recovery after colitis. N-(3-Chlorophenyl)-N'-(diaminomethylene)guanidine also has been shown to be effective in treating Parkinson's disease, although its mechanism of action is not yet fully understood.
