N-(3-Chlorophenyl)glycine is an organic solvent that is used to extract metals from ores. It can be used for the enantioselective synthesis of chiral compounds and has been shown to be an effective extractant in surface methodology applications. The ligand has been optimized by using a ferrocene-based diphosphine. N-(3-Chlorophenyl)glycine is typically used as a ligand in asymmetric synthesis, but it also has been shown to interact with other compounds such as enantiomers and diphosphines.
