4-Chloro-5-methyl-2-(methylthio)pyrimidine is a small molecule that inhibits the activity of many kinases. It has been shown to have low nanomolar potency against lymphocyte and biological activity, as well as potent inhibition of the class of kinases that includes Raf and ERK. 4-Chloro-5-methyl-2-(methylthio)pyrimidine is also active against a number of kinases with lower nanomolar potency, including EGFR, JAK2, and Src.
