Descrição:1-Cyclohexyl-1H-pyrrole is an organic compound that is soluble in nonpolar solvents. It has been used to synthesize polymers with a low molecular weight and high thermal stability. The kinetics of the reaction have been studied using on-line monitoring techniques and kinetic analysis. The termination of the polymerization reaction was found to be due to the formation of dialkylaminoalkyl monomers, which react with the growing polymer chain to form a new polymer molecule. Thermally induced homopolymerization reactions are also possible, where 1-cyclohexyl-1H-pyrrole is heated at 60°C in tetrahydrofuran (THF) until it reaches a maximum conversion of 100%.
