It has been shown to be effective in the treatment of type 1 and type 2 diabetes, as well as multiple sclerosis, rheumatoid arthritis, and other autoimmune diseases. Cholecalciferol impurity A binds to the response element for vitamin D3 and mediates gene expression. It also activates calcium-dependent signaling pathways, which are important for bone metabolism and the immune system. This drug has been shown to reduce disease activity by increasing blood levels of natriuretic peptide levels and reducing blood sampling times in animal models.
