14-Chlorodehydroabietic acid is an isomer of dehydroabietic acid. It is only found in the environment as a result of biotransformation from dehydroabietic acid, a component of pine wood, and has been detected in tissues following incubation. Biotransformation products have not been identified, but 14-chlorodehydroabietic acid may be detoxified by chlorine. There are no data available on the uptake or bioconcentration of 14-chlorodehydroabietic acid.
