Descrição:Anatibant is a dextran sulfate that binds to the bradykinin b2 receptor. It has been shown to have no significant efficacy in the treatment of inflammatory diseases in rats. Anatibant was found to be ineffective in treating sciatic nerve injury and is not effective for reducing brain damage from ischemia. Anatibant is a low potency compound with a high molecular weight, which makes it poorly absorbed by the body. Anatibant does not bind specifically to any receptor and does not show any significant pharmacological activity.
