2-(3-Chloropropyl)-1H-isoindole-1,3(2H)-dione is a tranquilizing drug that belongs to the class of indazoles. The molecule has a reactive nitrogen atom in its structure and can be used to treat cancer cells. 2-(3-Chloropropyl)-1H-isoindole-1,3(2H)-dione has been shown to have a wide range of biological effects including antiangiogenic and antitumor activities. It also has sedating properties which may be due to its ability to bind to the benzodiazepine receptor.
