This compound also induces fatty acid synthesis in hamster v79 cells. 3CTMPO is an acyl chain compound with two carboxylic acid groups and one amino group linked by a single bond. The carboxylic groups are esterified with two methyl groups each, while the amino group is esterified with one methyl group.
