It also has demonstrated anti-inflammatory properties by inhibition of the activation of the 5-ht7 receptor. This reaction proceeds via aziridine as a key intermediate and involves an acylation reaction between chloroacetyl chloride and valeric acid in low energy conditions, which leads to this product.
