Descrição:
Calamine is a yellow or orange mineral that is used in chinese medicine preparations. Calamine has been shown to have anti-inflammatory properties, as well as inhibition of the influenza virus and tissue culture. Calamine is also used in the treatment of skin conditions, such as eczema and psoriasis, due to its ability to regulate the water content in skin cells. It has also been shown to have a phase transition temperature of about 149°C and belongs to the group of minerals with low solubility.
