Informação sobre produto
- 7-Methoxy-4-chloroquinoline
4-Chloro-7-methoxyquinoline is a quinoline derivative that inhibits the activity of amine oxidases and thereby inhibits cell growth. It has shown potential antitumor activity against leukemia, lymphoma, and prostate cancer cells in vitro. 4-Chloro-7-methoxyquinoline inhibits the production of acetaldehyde by blocking the enzyme aldehyde dehydrogenase, which converts acetaldehyde to acetic acid. This chemical also has an inhibitory effect on radiation induced DNA damage. The pharmacokinetic profile for this drug is not yet fully understood.
4-Chloro-7-methoxyquinoline has been shown to be selective for kinases, including protein kinase C (PKC) and tyrosine kinases such as cdc2 and cdc25C, which are important for cell cycle progression.
