It is a pyrazole derivative and binds to the camp levels in cells. 1-Cycloheptylhydrazine hydrochloride blocks the synthesis of inflammatory mediators such as prostaglandins by inhibiting cyclooxygenase and lipoxygenase, key enzymes in this process. 1-Cycloheptylhydrazine hydrochloride has been shown to be effective against allergic diseases and inflammatory diseases, including asthma and rheumatoid arthritis.
