Informação sobre produto
- Propanoic Acid, 2-(4-Chlorophenoxy)-2-Methyl-, Methyl Ester
Methyl 2-(4-chlorophenoxy)-2-methylpropanoate is a nucleotide that is used in the treatment of baculovirus infections. This nucleotide is phosphorylated by the enzyme, methyltransferase, to produce 5′-monophosphate MMP. Methyl 2-(4-chlorophenoxy)-2-methylpropanoate has been shown to be an effective inhibitor of the growth of insects, such as the cotton boll weevil and the tobacco budworm. It has also been shown to inhibit replication of baculoviruses, such as Autographa californica multiple nucleopolyhedrovirus (AcMNPV) and Spodoptera frugiperda multiple nucleopolyhedrovirus (SFMNPV).
