Descrição:Trans-2,5-Dimethylpiperazine is a member of the amine group. It is a colorless gas with a strong odor. The compound has conformational properties that are similar to those of nitroalkanes and experimental solubility data show that it is soluble in water. Trans-2,5-Dimethylpiperazine has been shown to have potent antibacterial activity against bacteria such as Clostridium perfringens and Pseudomonas aeruginosa.
