1,3-Dichloro-1,1,3,3-tetraisopropyldisiloxane is a chromatographic stationary phase that has been used for the analysis of oligosaccharides and hydrogen bonds. 1,3-Dichloro-1,1,3,3-tetraisopropyldisiloxane has been shown to be useful in the separation of uridine from other nucleotides. It also has been shown to be useful as a titration calorimetry standard. This stationary phase can be used with fluorescence spectrometry and tryptophan fluorescence for structural analysis of pyrimidine compounds. Molecular modeling studies have also demonstrated that this stationary phase is stereoselective with regards to hydroxyl group emissions.
