Informação sobre produto
3,5-Dimethylisoxazole-4-sulfonyl chloride is an aromatic heterocycle that reacts with thionyl chloride to form a chloroformate. This reaction is catalyzed by a base such as triethylamine or pyridine. The chloroformate is then reacted with propionic acid, which leads to the formation of the desired product, luliconazole. 3,5-Dimethylisoxazole-4-sulfonyl chloride is used in biomedicine as a pesticide and in organic synthesis as a reagent for the preparation of substituted triazoles. The high yield of this reaction makes it useful for these purposes. The reaction can be carried out at temperatures between -50°C and 150°C.
