Descrição:
3,5-Diethyl-4H-1,2,4-triazol-4-amine is an antibacterial agent that binds to metal ions such as copper and zinc. It is also a coordination compound that forms complexes with anions such as chloride and acetate. 3,5-Diethyl-4H-1,2,4-triazol-4-amine has been shown to have antioxidant properties due to its ability to scavenge free radicals. The crystal structure of 3,5-diethyl 4H 1 2 4 triazol 4 amine has been determined by XRD crystallography and the ligand has been identified using NMR spectroscopy. This antibiotic has also been found to inhibit the growth of methicillin resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) in vitro.
