N,N-Dimethylvaline hydrochloride is a therapeutic agent that inhibits the production of antibodies by binding to the Fc region of immunoglobulin G. It has been shown to be effective in treating autoimmune diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis and lupus erythematosus. N,N-Dimethylvaline hydrochloride has also been shown to inhibit bacterial strains that are resistant to antibiotics such as penicillin, methicillin, and cephalosporin. The monoclonal antibody may be used for diagnostic purposes and it has also been shown to have significant inhibitory activity against lymphocytic leukemia cells.
