Informação sobre produto
4,6-Dichloro-5-nitropyrimidin-2-amine (4,6-DCNP) is a DNA binder that can be used to repair human DNA. 4,6-DCNP inhibits the methyltransferase and family of enzymes that are involved in the methylation of dna. This chemical has been computationally designed for binding to dna. It binds to the phosphate backbone of dna and prevents the formation of hydrogen bonds with water molecules. The nitro group on 4,6-DCNP interacts with chloride ions in order to prevent hydrolysis.
