Informação sobre produto
- 4,6-dichloro-3-Pyridinecarboxaldehyde
- 4,6-Dichloropyridine-3-carboxaldehyde
4,6-Dichloronicotinaldehyde is a potent inhibitor of the enzyme kinase Plk1. It inhibits the activity of this enzyme by binding to the ATP-binding site, thereby blocking ATP hydrolysis and inhibiting cell division. The IC50 for 4,6-dichloronicotinaldehyde is in the nanomolar range. This compound has been shown to inhibit cells with a specific phenotype, such as human mammary epithelial cells (HMEC), while not affecting other cell types such as HeLa cells. 4,6-Dichloronicotinaldehyde has also been shown to be effective against low nanomolar concentrations of Plk1 in vitro and in vivo.
