Dehydrodiisoeugenol (DDE) is a natural compound that has been shown to inhibit the activity of cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2), which is an enzyme involved in the production of prostaglandins. The thermodynamic data for dehydrodiisoeugenol was obtained using gas chromatography on human serum.
