Diethylaminephosphate is a salt of diethylamine and copper. It has been shown to have damaging and synthetic properties. Diethylaminephosphate exhibits potentiodynamic polarization and electrochemical methods, which can be used to detect damage in metal oxide materials. This compound also has synergistic effects when combined with other agents such as silver nitrate, ferric chloride, and hydrochloric acid. Diethylaminephosphate is used as an intermediate for the preparation of copper oxide particles for use in air filters. Diethylaminephosphate also has acute lymphoblastic leukemia chemotherapeutic effects.
