(3Z)-3-(Dibenzo[b,e]Oxepin-11(6H)-Ylidene)-N,N-Dimethyl-1-Propanamine is a drug that has been used in wastewater treatment. It has been shown to be an antimicrobial agent and has been investigated for use in vitro as a method for detecting doxepin in human serum. (3Z)-3-(Dibenzo[b,e]Oxepin-11(6H)-Ylidene)-N,N-Dimethyl-1-Propanamine has also been found to have a long term toxicity in geriatric patients and may affect the concentration of cortisol. This drug also interacts with other drugs such as tricyclic antidepressants and H1 antagonists.
