Descrição

Direct Blue 80 is a dye that has an adsorption mechanism. It is used as a basic dye in detergent compositions and as a colorant for polycarboxylic acid. This pigment also has the potential to be used as an immobilizing agent for activated sludge, or to form films on particles that can be used in flow systems. Direct Blue 80 is soluble in water and has been shown to react with fatty acids, which may account for its use as an emulsifier and foam stabilizer in detergents.
