Descrição:Dehydrodicentrine is a dehydrogenated form of dehydronuciferine that is found in plants. It has been shown to have neurodegenerative disease-inhibitory activities, which may be due to its ability to increase the levels of chloride and creatine kinase in the brain. Dehydrodicentrine also inhibits the production of aporphines, which are toxic compounds found in plants such as stephania and bulbocapnine. These compounds are believed to inhibit the activity of mercuric chloride.
