Dichloroisoeverninic Acid is a chemical compound that has been shown to be effective against a number of bacterial strains. Dichloroisoeverninic Acid inhibits transcriptional regulation by interfering with the binding of RNA polymerase to DNA, thereby preventing RNA synthesis. Dichloroisoeverninic Acid has been shown in animal studies to have pharmacokinetic properties similar to those of avilamycin, which is used for the treatment of Gram-negative bacteria in veterinary medicine.
